The Cine Fest Petrobras Brasil - NY, an official event of The Inffinito Festival Circuit, has proven itself a fundamental and valuable resource for introducing Brazil’s finest new films to US audiences.  All films shown at the Festival celebrate their New York debut; many will be presented to an international audience for the first time. It happened to June 12 through June 18 at Tribeca, the festival closed June 19 at SummerStage in Central Park with  a Live Performance from Brazil’s Queen of Samba, MART’NÁLIA. This edition the event announced 2011 Crystal Lens winner for the Festival’s outstanding film. 

The NGO BrazilFoundation and Brazil Child Health have teamed up to promote the I Benefit Festa Junina Children Helping Children  to take place on June 5^th 2011, at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York.  The event brought together families, children and friends in a traditional Brazilian Folk celebration to raise funds for projects in education and health for underprivileged children in Brazil.
